(Kim Su Han Moo)

Sounds familiar?
Those who are watching Secret Garden that's being aired over South Korea right now will know what it is right away!

Yes! It the chant that Kim Joo Won recite every time he's about to go crazy thinking about Gil Ra Im.

I've been searching high and low for this in the internet and i came across this website, otayamin.wordpress.com that provides an in depth explanation.

Romanized:-

Kim~~suhanmoo keobugiwa durumi samcheongabja Dong Bang Sak Chichigapo Sarisarisaenta Woriwori Saepeurika Moodoosella gureumi heorikaein dambyeorak seosaengwonae goyangyi badookineun Doldolri

It actually comes with an ancient story with a sad ending.

A long, long time ago, a man who’s part of generations of only sons, consulted a name-specialist to give his only son a name symbolic of a long life. But no matter how the name-specialist suggested, the man insisted, “longer… make it longer”. It became a name that took a long time to pronounce in anybody’s life.

His name was Kim~~suhanmoo keobugiwa durumi samcheongabja Dong Bang Sak Chichigapo Sarisarisaenta Woriwori Saepeurika Moodoosella gureumi heorikaein dambyeorak seosaengwonae goyangyi badookineun Doldolri.

One day, Kim~~suhanmoo keobugiwa durumi samcheongabja Dong Bang Sak Chichigapo Sarisarisaenta Woriwori Saepeurika Moodoosella gureumi heorikaein dambyeorak seosaengwonae goyangyi badookineun Doldolri fell into the river.

A passer-by cried for help.

“Help!! Kim~~suhanmoo keobugiwa durumi samcheongabja Dong Bang Sak Chichigapo Sarisarisaenta Woriwori Saepeurika Moodoosella gureumi heorikaein dambyeorak seosaengwonae goyangyi badookineun Doldolri fell into the river!”

However, during the time he was crying for help, Kim~~suhanmoo keobugiwa durumi samcheongabja Dong Bang Sak Chichigapo Sarisarisaenta Woriwori Saepeurika Moodoosella gureumi heorikaein dambyeorak seosaengwonae goyangyi badookineun Doldolri drowned.

So, what does it mean?

In depth Translation:-

Chi-chi-ga-po: name of somebody who lived a long life somewhere in Africa *lol*

Sarisarisaenta, Woriwori, Saepeurika: names of legendary people who lived a long life *rofl*

Moo-doo-sael-la : konglish for Methuselah, who lived for 969 years, according to the Bible’s Genesis 5:27

heo-ri-kae-in: konglish for ‘hurricane’, shows the meaninglessness of clouds’ existence if they can be blown away by hurricanes, thus it’s better to be a hurricane than a cloud.

dam-byo-rak: ‘wall’, showing the meaninglessness of a hurricane if you stay intact despite being blown, thus it’s better to be a wall than a hurricane.

seo-saeng-won-ae: ‘mouse’. Drills holes in wall, causing weakened wall to collapse in a hurricane, thus… it’s better to be a mouse than a wall.

go-yang-yi: ‘cat’. (You get the drift)

ba-duk-yi-neun: ‘dog’

Doldolri : doggie’s name..

So there you have it!
Practice it... so we can recite together with Joo Won the next time he says it!

Run To My Rescue

Check out this cool track from Shogun featuring Emma Lock.

Wonderful ain't it?
I'm absolutely in love with this song! Emma's voice is so haunting!

Check out the lyrics too!
It's such a rarity that trance will have a deep and meaningful lyrics.

Shogun feat. Emma Lock - Run To My Rescue

Maybe I could just choose to ignore this
Let it fade like water through the sand
Maybe I could just leave this behind me
Some things you’ll never understand
Cause this is such a fine line
A fine line to cross

And this is not a question
whether you will or you won’t
You either have it or you don’t

Our loves a stone throw away
We get so near but we’ve still so far away
Concealed behind all our floored disguises

We’re even here at the turn of the tide
Words escape like ocean ray of lights
They say you hear it before you see it coming
But you got to see it to believe it with your eyes

Baby are we dreaming
Through this sky free falling

I’ll never stop loving you
Run to my rescue

I think my ears are jeezing! It's pure "ear"gasm listening to this track...

C Major / A Minor - Dorian Scale

Here's a new scale for us to practice on. It's called the "Dorian Scale". As for the past 1 and half week, i had been practicing consistently the C Major scale. Now forth, i hadda allocate a lil more time to fit in this new scale into my practice session.

Remember, don't ever rush through the practice. Be patient. Speed will come through practice. As for now, we need to get the fingers in the correct position and clarity of the note to be crisp.

Practice, practice and practice!

Finishing Well

Was chilling at Popular this afternoon and i found this book written by Bob Buford. It's titled Finishing Well.

Will try to finish it by this weekend. I know i have a tight schedule, but heys, we shouldn't deprive our hunger for reading. In fact, i believe that we should keep reading consistently no matter how busy we are. As the saying goes, 15 min of reading a day can make a busy man smart! Will write a review once i'm done with this book. Stay tune!

Ok, confessions...

I'm addicted to Korean Dramas. Had been glued to the drama titled "Secret Garden" (시크릿 가든). It's still being aired in South Korea. So, hadda wait for an episode every week. As at now, it's at episode 7.

It definitely has a cool story line with a lot of twists to it. And yeah, it's packed with good looking actresses. Namely, Kim Sa Rang (The hottest actress in this drama series in my opinion) and Ha Ji Won. They are seriously pretty!

And i did some homework on them. Apparently they are not "manufactured" beauties. How true it goes, i can't confirm. Unless i meet up with them personally! (Wishful thinking...=P )

Anyways, for those K-drama lovers... this is a MUST watch drama!

Tight Schedules

Had been extremely busy lately... with all the datelines and my lady boss breathing down my neck chasing for this and that. Come on! I only got a pair of hands! How much can you expect from me?
Urgh...

Apart from my rants, i think i pretty much achieve what i wanted so far.
1) I managed to wake up at 7.30am everyday
2) I exercised at least 15 min a day (morning)
3) I'm starting to eat with a more healthy and balanced diet
4) I'm maximizing my time with activities and i wasted less time doing nothing
5) I procrastinated much lesser

So far... for my week's report, I think i'm doing good. Hope i keep this up!
=)
